MRA, a not-for-profit employers association, announced the appointment of Bill Budzien as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Human Resource Services. Budzien will lead several MRA departments and oversee the organization’s financial operations. Budzien received an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in accounting and mathematics from St. John’s University in Minnesota. With notable accomplishments during his positions with several Wisconsin-based companies, Budzien’s experience includes directorships in management systems, financial planning & analysis, and general management of manufacturing operations.
In previous CFO and EVP positions, Budzien had accountability for bottom-line results and working capital management, as well as responsibility for accounting, human resources, information technology, customer services, and other operational departments to drive profitable growth while being customer-focused. Budzien’s broad-based experience in both manufacturing and service industries, with both privately held and public companies, brings additional depth to MRA’s Senior Management Team and supports MRA’s passionate commitment to helping its members achieve their business goals.
