Local Clicks To Bricks CEO, DC Fawcett, recently reviewed Foursquare as a method of increasing new customers for local business. Now the company is looking for local reps to fill the demand.
According to a poll in USA Today, 65% of Americans believe 2013 will be a year of financial difficulty.
DC Fawcett commented, “Many people are looking for ways to supplement their income. In these uncertain times, it’s a good idea to have something you’re working on apart from your normal job. At the same time, we noticed a trend in local business. Many business owners need and want more new customers, so we’ve put together a social media system to fill that need. Now we need more local people to represent the Local Clicks to Bricks brand.”
According to a Gallop Poll, small businesses are cutting workers more than hiring, and lackluster sales is listed as one of the top problems.
DC Fawcett commented, “The problem is that these businesses don’t know how to play the social media marketing game. They don’t get it. You can’t just slap up a Facebook business page and expect new customers to beat down your door. You need to know how to engage the local consumer, and that’s what we do best with our new Foursquare strategy. Now we have tons of small businesses around the country inquiring about it, so we need a few local reps to follow up with the demand from these small businesses.”
Wired.com reported that Foursquare recently made some upgrades to its mobile app. The report also stated other apps use Foursquare for their geo-tagging. These apps include the popular Evernote, as well as Vine, Instagram, and Path.
DC Fawcett commented, “What we’ve done is take two problems and provide one monumental new solution for both problems. On one hand, you have businesses desperately seeking new ways to attract a customers, and on the other hand, you have entrepreneurs looking to earn additional income (link to opportunity webinar) for their families. What Local Clicks to Bricks does, is marry these two together by offering a new platform for the local entrepreneur while at the same time offering a complete solution where they don’t have to learn a whole bunch of technical stuff. It’s a win-win situation.”
