BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT (PRWEB) May 01, 2013
Conveyco, an integrator of Automated Material Handling Systems and Design Build Solutions, announced today its goal to raise awareness of LUPUS during the month of May. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or internal organs).
“After losing my sister Annemarie to LUPUS eleven years ago, we vowed to do everything possible to continue to raise awareness and funds for LUPUS research,” said Raymond P. Cocozza, Sr., Vice President of Conveyco. “Conveyco has been a proud sponsor of numerous endeavors, one of which was an annual golf tournament which raised well over $100,000. The time has come for us to redouble our efforts and the “Likes for LUPUS” campaign is the first of a new set of initiatives by Conveyco to do our small part to raise awareness and funds for a cure.”
For every “Like” that Conveyco receives during the month of May, a donation will be made to the LUPUS Foundation of America.

As a musician and philanthropist, Julian is the newly appointed Global Ambassador for the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) and is encouraging people around the world to join with him to observe World Lupus Day on May 10.
