After applying the update, dealership personnel can use the app to record and send a Covideo to their customers who will then receive that Covideo as a text message. We always strive to give more. The ability to send Covideos via SMS opens up many new possibilities to improve customer interaction, both in sales and on the service drive.”

Texting takes less time than emailing. Many consumers prefer its speed and convenience. When a Covideo is sent as a text, the Covideo is uploaded to a server and sent as a hyperlink. The Covideo is streamed, with no large file to transfer over text. The new Covideo texting feature allows service advisors and technicians to show and explain additional services available to a customer after inspecting their vehicle. The texting feature can also be used for new or used vehicle walk-a-rounds and for following up on initial conversations with customers looking to purchase a vehicle.
