Gatineau, QC (PRWEB) May 01, 2013

Macadamian has added two prestigious Canadian business accolades to its expanding list of accomplishments for 2013. The international user-experience-design and software-development studio headquartered in Gatineau, Quebec, continues to show that it’s possible to grow revenues while achieving award-winning levels of employee fulfillment.

Recently, Macadamian was recognized in two categories of the Branham300, a listing of Canada’s top publicly traded and privately held ICT companies as ranked by revenues. With more than $17 million in annual revenues and employees in Canada, the U.S. and Eastern Europe, the company jumped 26 spots to occupy No. 141 in the list of the Top 250 Canadian ICT Companies. The 15-year-old company also retained its prominent position as one of Canada’s Top 5 Mobile Technology Companies.

“Our commitment to customer service is at the core of all these awards,” said Frédéric Boulanger, CEO of Macadamian. “Collaboration, timely response and industry-leading expertise are among the signature strengths for which we’re known.”

It has been an extended awards’ season for Macadamian and the company is already working to ensure future success. In March, Macadamian was tapped by AonHewitt, the Queen's School of Business and PROFIT Magazine as a top Canadian business in the category for Small and Medium Employers. The same panel also recognized Macadamian as one of the Best Employers in Quebec in 2013. For its work environment and employee-friendly policies, Macadamian was once again distinguished as a winner of the Ottawa Business Journal’s 2013 Employees’ Choice Awards. In 2012 the growing company of more than 200 was also given the nod as one of Canada’s Best Employers for Young People.

In keeping with Macadamian’s dedication to personal and professional support, staff from around the world gathered for a weekend hack-a-thon in April. More than 60 staff were divided into teams and given 24 hours to create original apps.

As a symbol of commitment to give back to the wider community, in 2013 Macadamian became the proud sponsor of the first-ever French version of the YouthMBA.ca program, providing business-focused training for young leaders ranging from 12-16.
