This recognition helps me to know that I am giving patients what they desire when it comes to medical and patient care.
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) May 03, 2013
Among the select few physicians honored with the prestigious Patients' Choice Award is board-certified gastroenterologist Dr. Leo Treyzon. Named as a recipient of this honor, Dr. Treyzon was commended for his exemplary work in medicine and compassion for his patients. The Patients' Choice honor reflects the difference doctors make in the lives of their patients.
The Patients' Choice Award is given to doctors who received rave reviews for their work and dedication in their medical field. As the honor roll of America’s favorite doctors, this honor is bestowed on doctors by their patients. In 2013 alone, more than 200,000 patients across America provided reviews and feedback regarding their personal treatment and experiences with their doctors. While physicians often receive positive feedback, only a select few consistently receive ongoing positive reviews.
Dr. Treyzon scored near-perfect ratings in the categories of bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, follow-up care, office staff's courtesy and overall patient opinion. Of the 830,000 doctors currently practicing in the U.S., just 5 percent received the Patients’ Choice Award in 2012.
“This recognition helps me to know that I am giving patients what they desire when it comes to medical and patient care,” Dr. Treyzon said. “I know when a patient walks through my door, they entrust me with their care.”
