Columbia, MD (PRWEB) May 06, 2013
Equity Management, a large regional property management firm, has launched a Green Initiative program at several apartment communities in the Washington Metropolitan area.
In addition to green roofs, LED lighting and recycling programs, Equity Management is proud to announce that solar panels are being installed at 6 apartment communities in the Washington Metropolitan area. These panels will supplement the energy supply required to provide hot water to each community.
“We are pleased to be a forerunner with this new technology,” says John Potvin, President. “The panels will reduce utility usage and provide a fair return on investment while reducing the carbon footprint. Everyone wins in this endeavor.”
Participating communities include 3 Tree Flats in Washington, DC, Penn Mar Apartments in Forestville, MD, Langley Gardens and University Manor in Silver Spring, MD, Quebec Arms in Hyattsville, MD and Queens Manor in Mt. Ranier, MD.
