Have fun with easy origami projects that sneak in math, history, and science lessons.

Explore the world of paper folding and origami by making some simple designs. Origami combines the world of art with geometry to make awesome creations.
Making the dog does not require scissors, tape or even glue. A few impressive folds on a square piece of paper of any size will turn into a dog's head. It is kind of like a puzzle to use geometry to create art.
First fold the paper in half. Then fold the corners to create the ears. Finally, fold the bottom to create the dog's chin. Start decorating the dog according to the template provided on Kids Activities Blog.
Other easy paper folding projects include making a Columbus sailing boat. This project combines art with math and history. While doing the project, dive into the history of Columbus sailing the ocean blue. Materials needed are a piece of paper and a toothpick.
Simply assemble the boat according to the template provided on Kids Activities Blog and let the kids have a blast while trying out the boat in the bath tub. Teaching the kids about buoyancy at this time can sneak in a science lesson as well.
