Design-Build Contractor Earns Recognition for Quality Construction Services.

The North San Diego County firm, Straub Construction, Inc. of Fallbrook, received high marks from the Associated Builders and Contractors to earn re-certification in the Accredited Quality Certification program.

In order to receive the Accredited Quality Certification, Straub Construction had to meet all of the requirements, including: at least 2 quality based industry awards recognized by their peers; conducting Job Site Hazard Analyses before work commences; proving financial stability and bonding capacity; conducting new employee safety orientations; enforcing a written substance abuse program with regular screening; utilizing a Quality Control Program; and, providing a formalized Craft Training structure.

Additionally, Straub's Safety Incident Rate had to fall below the industry's standards. Finally, Straub employees regularly participated in civic-oriented and community activities, which was the final requirement.
