Wheaton, IL (PRWEB) May 07, 2013
Aleyant Systems, a leader in providing web to print software services to the graphic communications industry, today announced that it will be conducting a free educational webinar with its partner, Tucanna, a software company dedicated to building software for humans. Using Aleyant's Automated Workflow Integrator, the Pressero e-commerce storefront connects to processing queues inside of Tucanna tFlow preflight and color correction software, creating direct integration from order entry to production. The webinar will specifically focus on tFlow’s ability to receive files from the Pressero storefront, automatically preflight them, and pass them along to production with minimal human intervention.
“Tucanna tFlow is a great way to add affordable preflighting, automated file fixing, digital workflow and color management to jobs submitted via a Pressero-generated web storefront,” said Greg Salzman, President of Aleyant Systems. “During this hour-long webinar, attendees will learn more about this impressive integration and how it can enable today’s printing businesses to process more work, more accurately, and with minimal cost, critical factors for profitability in a highly competitive marketplace.”

How It Works
The Automated Workflow Integrator (AWI) passes print files from the Pressero storefronts to a back-end Tucanna hotfolder on the print provider's production network, allowing jobs to flow automatically into tFlow workflows or, optionally, to allow operator manual intervention. This removes time-wasting retouching as well as potential errors from the “order-entry-to-production” workflow and includes such things as automatic preflighting with error correction, color management and ink optimization depending upon rules established by job type. AWI can also manage such factors as rules-based file renaming for workflows that have strict file naming conventions or automatically unzipping zipped files, eliminating multiple steps in the process.
“This integration has already opened many doors for our joint customers,” added Darrian A. Young of Tucanna Software & Development. “This session provides the opportunity for existing customers to learn more and for companies looking for an affordable way to automate their workflow to get into the game.”
