AbsolutData, an award-winning global analytics and research firm, announces today three key senior leadership appointments in the United Kingdom.
Just months after opening its London office, AbsolutData is expanding its leadership team to support rapid growth in the region. The London location was AbsolutData’s first new office expansion since receiving $20 million in funding in August 2012.

With over 15 years of experience in macroeconomic research, market, customer and competitive insight, and consulting on strategy for business and finance industries, Balazs Vertes joins AbsolutData as Director of Business Development. Prior to joining AbsolutData, Vertes focused on financial analytics and economic research at firms in Hungry and New Zealand, and at BT Global Services as head of insight for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA).
Mario de Luca joins AbsolutData as Director of Client Development after 15 years of successful business development in a variety of roles across industries, ranging from enterprise software to outsourced marketing solutions. His experience managing and driving growth in marketing, consultancy and data service areas is essential as he works to expand AbsolutData’s client base across industries.
As Director of Analytics for EMEA, Eli Kling will oversee the application of advanced statistical techniques to guide business decisions and processes for clients. His background in research and analytics spans more than 13 years across multiple countries, including Israel, Austria, Denmark and the U.K. Most recently, Kling supported an extensive geo-demographic segmentation solution for GeoBusiness (AtomiCube) using information from the 2001 U.K. Census.
