The Sensei Project Dashboard™ uses live tiles to summarize key information from the project schedule and the supporting SharePoint Project Site.

  •     'Project' tile shows high level project information about the Finish, Cost, % Work complete, Issues and Risks.
  •     'Tasks' tile shows detailed information about Slipping Tasks, Missed Deadlines, tasks that are Due Soon and Starting Soon as well as Overallocations.
  •     'Documents' tile shows the SharePoint Document Library for the project.
  •     'Issues' tile shows the SharePoint Issues list for the project.
  •     'Risks' tile shows the SharePoint Risks list for the project.
  •     'Deliverables' tile shows the SharePoint Deliverables list for the project.

The project manager can access detailed information behind each live tile.

“Apps for Office is opening up a whole new world of possibilities for Microsoft Partners to extend the core functionality and provide value-add solutions to Microsoft Project. The Sensei Project Dashboard App is a great example of what is possible as we are pulling SharePoint data into Microsoft Project on the desktop for a single, integrated view of the project,” said Dan MacDonald, Director of Application Development.

“The Sensei Project Dashboard has been met with rave reviews during our Project 2013 launch events across the US and Canada. We are making it easier to proactively manage not only the tasks on the project, but also all the supporting documents, risks, issues and deliverables. The App highlights problem areas to allow the project manager to take corrective action sooner and collaborate with the team throughout the project,” said Kenneth Steiness, Managing Partner.

The Sensei Project Dashboard™ is the second App for Project 2013 from Sensei Project Solutions.

CIO Magazine named the Sensei Task Analyzer™ as one of 30 Apps that improve Microsoft Office 2013. The Sensei Task Analyzer for Microsoft Project helps to ensure a high quality schedule by analyzing each task for potential issues. The ‘Compliance Checks’ in Sensei Task Analyzer are based on industry standards and best practices, including Sensei’s Proactive Scheduling™ and the Project Management Institute’s Practice Standards for WBS and Scheduling.
