EarnTheNecklace.com, a revealing and engaging web site written by women who exchange their stories and confessions about being in a relationship with a much older man, is pleased to announce the appointment of Riya Beaumont as the new Executive Content Editor in reaction to growing demand.
“Since first launching just two short months ago, EarnTheNecklace.com has grown at an unprecedented rate. We launched our new web site in March, and to meet the site’s growing demand, just last week we announced the addition of a new writer,” explains Bianca-Marie Coventry, Content Manager at EarnTheNecklace.com. “This week, our team has grown again. We have, in a very short period of time, assembled a team with extensive industry experience and impressive track records. All of us at EarnTheNecklace.com are extremely pleased to welcome Riya Beaumont as our new Executive Content Editor.”
Beaumont brings a wealth of experience and leadership to EarnTheNecklace.com, having worked extensively with major print magazines, newspapers, and online media. Prior to joining EarnTheNecklace.com, Beaumont filled the positions of Deputy Editor at one of the country’s largest entertainment magazines; Editor at Canada’s top parenting magazine; and Beauty Assistant for an international fashion and lifestyle magazine. Beaumont received her BA (Honors) from Wilfred Laurier University in Journalism, and a postgraduate diploma in Book and Magazine Publishing from Centennial College.
First launched in March 2013, EarnTheNecklace.com is a web site for women who are in a relationship with a much older man and want to help other women who are in the same situation. It provides a unique opportunity for younger women to discuss topics openly and objectively—topics that have, for years, been considered taboo: age, lust, love, sex, money, and power.
As Executive Content Editor, Beaumont will be the site’s multi-skilled journalist, responsible for researching, writing, editing, and maintaining the site’s unique content and handling social media efforts across a variety of platforms. She will also cover celebrity news and media events, and other unique marketing and publicity opportunities for EarnTheNecklace.com.
Commenting on her appointment, Beaumont said, “The rapid growth of EarnTheNecklace.com is testament to the growing demand for a forum where women can share their experiences of being in a relationship with an older man. I am very excited to join EarnTheNecklace.com and look forward to the new challenges and experiences I will be facing as the site’s new Executive Content Editor.“
