New York, NY (PRWEB) May 05, 2013
Economic News Journal’s spring discussion topic is “Millennials in the Workforce.” The topics of the dialogue will focus on the rapidly increasing unemployment rate for millennials as well as their effect on current workplace practices. The forum will also feature participation from Economic News Journal’s contributor Phin Upham, who has authored a number of economics articles that have appeared in journals and online.
While young workers historically have a harder time finding work, statistics show that the current unemployment rate for millennials is rising faster than the national average. Economic News Journal will be publishing summaries of the work from economists who have conducted extensive research on the subject. Articles from the blog’s slate of featured authors will be added to the forums for examination and critique, and the site’s editors hope to expose participants to a wide range of thinking on the Millennial generation.
Phin Upham attended Harvard and the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned awards for his research. He has been a featured author on Economic News Journal and has had business and economics articles published in well-regarded journals. He writes on topics such as economics, the theory of the firm, and corporate responsibility.
