Hiring in the legal sector rebounded slightly in April compared to the drop-off that was seen in February according to the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The legal industry has been able to generate around 2,100 net new positions in April. This makes it the second straight month that the industry has added jobs according to data from the BLS. The BLS in fact now says that there were actually 3,500 net jobs created in March compared to its previous figure of 2,000.
The total number of employees in the legal industry now stand at 1.13 million. This means that there are 10,000 more employees in the industry compared to just 12 months ago.
