Dave Weaver Hired as Natural Gas and Oil Sector Project Manager at EarthRes

Global engineering consulting firm EarthRes has hired David Weaver as its newest natural gas and oil sector project manager, leading the company's newest office in Morgantown, W.Va.

EarthRes, a full-service engineering consulting firm headquartered in Bucks County Pa. , has announced today the addition of David Weaver, PE as a project manager at the firm. Weaver, who’s specialized in planning, design, and permitting of natural gas production, will head the company’s newest office in Morgantown, W.Va.

“Dave’s expertise and direct experience in the natural gas and oil sector equip him with the skillset to lead our growing team in the West Virginia region,” said Joel Hutwelker, Director of Oil and Gas Services at EarthRes. Weaver will be responsible for managing oil and gas site engineering for existing and prospective EarthRes clients in Southwestern Pa., West Virginia, and Ohio.

Weaver has 25 years of experience in civil engineering, specializing in natural gas production projects. His experience in site grading, access design, wetland and waterway impact design, and post construction storm water management is specific to the oil and gas industry. The new project manager’s experience of permitting and design of facilities includes well pads, freshwater and centralized impoundments, midstream transmission pipelines, and water supply and distribution facilities.

EarthRes recently opened a new office in Morgantown, W.Va to meet an increase in demand for natural gas and oil services in West Virginia and the surrounding regions of Southwestern Pa., and Ohio. The addition of Weaver as project manager to the engineering and consulting firm will help increase recent growth in these areas, and enable EarthRes to fulfill larger and more complex projects.

Weaver will work primarily in the oil and gas engineering sectors, providing consulting and services to clients in the West Virginia, Southwestern Pa., and Ohio regions, areas abundant in shale gas.
