Plan to Attend the May 16th Business After Hours Event Hosted by Certified Foundations, Inc.

The goal is to have everyone come and enjoy great food, drink and giveaways, and to network with fellow businesses, while honoring our local Veterans.

Lakeland, FL (PRWEB) May 12, 2013

Lakeland has been home to Certified Foundations Inc. for 24 years. This is a family owned and operated company, started through the grit and determination of Lewis and Jo Ann Collier. Today their son Jim, now at the helm and who grew up in this business, can attest to what it takes to run equipment, fix problems and successfully manage this enterprise from day to day.

CFI believes that good business means growing and investing in the community and in 2002, CFI did just that by developing an expansion plan which included construction of the current building & facilities on a 6-acre parcel in Lakeland. This exemplified the Collier’s strong on-going commitment to being part of Polk County's growing and vibrant business environment.

There is also an ongoing belief in the importance of community involvement, and because CFI understands that no road is without its bumps, representatives from three area charities supported by CFI, The 1st Tee of Lakeland, Chiefs Challenge and Youth for Christ, have been invited to be a part of the evening’s festivities.

This May Business After Hours will be the first event hosted by CFI for the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce and in honor of Memorial Day, CFI has partnered with Polk County Veterans’ Services to provide an evening worthy of a 10-gun salute. “The goal is to have everyone come and enjoy great food, drink and giveaways, and to network with fellow businesses, while honoring our local Veterans,” said James J. Collier, President of Certified Foundations, Inc.

Catering will be provided by area favorite, La Porta Rossa and Chef Patrick, has also donated a gift basket for the occasion. Special raffle prizes will include Golf Lessons donated by Lakeland’s 1st Tee and a Baseball Lover’s package from Certified Foundations, Inc., that includes 2 tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays game and a Vintage Bat for the Baseball Purist from Phoenix Bats. All profits generated from the purchase of this bat are donated to the Stand and Salute American Heroes. Their mission is to honor combat wounded veterans and families who have lost a loved one while serving our country.
