Foxborough, MA (PRWEB) May 07, 2013
The first official practice of the 2013 season for the New England Patriots took place last Friday at Gillette Stadium. This was when the team’s new rookies wore their Patriots gear for the first time. There were 26 rookies taking the field that day, which consisted of seven draft picks, nineteen undrafted players, as well as two first year players and five players brought in on a tryout basis. Coach Belichick quoted that they are excited and looking forward to working with all the new guys and seeing new faces. He said that they have a lot of ground to cover in areas other than football, but the group looks ready and eager. These initial practices are not for competition between the players, but rather a time to instruct them. The competitive part will come at a time later for those who are lucky enough to have made it that far. Third round pick Logan Ryan, a cornerback from Rutgers, has a strategy to adapting to NFL life. “Do exactly what they ask me to do. Understand what my job is and my role on this team, and do that, and continue to be a professional athlete on and off the field so I can have success…” All of the best Patriots tickets are available through Inside Track Tickets. http://www.patriots.com/news/article-1/Newest-Patriots-take-the-field/2e081c35-88b5-491c-b09e-4c28910fb4b4
