Red Ten NYC attended the North East regional Leadership Conference hosted at the Holiday Inn in New York City on 27th April 2013. Then event was held for professionals in the direct marketing and sales industry who were looking to develop their careers.

The Holiday Inn in New York City is conveniently located close to many of New York City’s big attractions, including Central Park and Times Square. Although the hotel is just a short journey from Red Ten NYC’s head office in Manhattan, representatives from the firm’s Boston division were also in attendance and took the opportunity for some sightseeing before the conference started. The venue is a popular choice for corporate events due to its suite of dedicated conference and meeting rooms.

Over 250 professionals from across the Northeast states were in attendance, ranging from promising salespeople in the early stages of their career through to regional managers. There were 6 key speakers, all of whom had successfully run one or more sales companies. The theme of the conference was becoming a better leader, and topics included effective training, team development, creating a positive working environment and driving sales. The event also allowed time for a meet and greet session with the speakers and a networking session. Red Ten NYC found this particularly useful as it allowed them to gain face time with professionals they would not normally get the chance to meet.
