ATLANTA, Ga. (PRWEB) May 08, 2013

Professional Photographers of America (PPA) is teaming-up with Zenfolio to offer another perk to its members.

Zenfolio, part of the Art.com Inc. family of brands, is an all-in-one solution for photographers to display, share and sell their work online. Tens of thousands of photographers use Zenfolio every day to oversee the viewing experience on their websites.

Active in the photography community for more than 140 years, PPA understands well the need for its members to effectively market themselves and display their work. To assist its members in a frequent area of struggle, PPA sought the help of Zenfolioto offer PPA members an exclusive discount on a Zenfolio subscription.

PPA members that are new subscribers to Zenfolio will receive 25 percent off their first year’s subscription. Depending on the subscription level chosen, this could equal a savings of up to more than $60. For PPA members that are already subscribers, Zenfolio, is offering 20 percent off an upgrade to a higher subscription level.

PPA member and Zenfolio user Damon Tucci, Cr.Photog., can vouch for the advantage of an attractive online display.

“I used to cringe if clients had to see the online gallery for their photos as a first impression,” said Tucci. “The fact is, back in the day, they were so lo-res, I think because the companies were worried about people stealing the images, that they looked awful. We even posted a disclaimer stating the images looked better than they appeared. It was awful. Zenfolio's galleries are opposite of that, they’re awesome. I sell more and they make me proud. Plus, they are easy in every sense of the word.”

Many PPA members, like Tucci, have reported their struggles with how to create and maintain their business’s online presence.

“Having an attractive online portfolio is an essential piece to a successful photography business,” said Sarah Osbourne, member experience coordinator at PPA. “Teaming-up with Zenfolio will give our members the opportunity to present their images professionally and run their entire online business through one convenient site. This way, they can worry about one less thing and focus on creating beautiful images.”

Zenfolio also provides photographers with a host of marketing tools to assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media integration and more.

This and all other PPA member discounts can be found on ppa.com on the “Year-Round Discounts” page. This benefit is available exclusively to PPA members. To join PPA, visit ppa.com/join. The offer expires May 31, 2014.
