The streets of Fremont come alive June 21-23 for the 42nd Annual Fremont Fair. On Saturday and Sunday, 300 vendors pop up their boutique shops to share their creations with fairgoers. Attendees can follow their nose to find handmade candles or seek out someone with the sixth sense and have their palms read. The eyes will be delighted with original jewelry, imported tapestries, and colorful creations. Ears will hear the whimsy of wind chimes and taste buds will delight in specialty vinegars, jams, and chocolate treats.
Fremont Fair has a wide selection of arts and crafts originals. Eclectikid, Raven Lunatic, Uzura, and many more will be vending their quirky creations. New this year, Blockhead Puzzles is selling wooden puzzles and boxes, a perfect gift for the kiddos. Fairgoers buying a gift for dad should not miss The Happy Golfer for personalized golf ball markers and towels.
For a worldly wonder, shoppers can take home a treasure from Gypsy Chic, Hempmania, or Bamboo Originals. Festive fairgoers can also get their face painted, grab a temporary henna tattoo, or get a card reading to see what’s in their stars.
Once shoppers have perused the pop-up shops, they can head up to the heart of Fremont and browse the boutique stores – Bliss, Fremont Vintage Mall, Portage Bay, and more. With so much to offer the weekend of the Fair, Fremont will be a mecca for the maven shopping with all her senses.
The Fremont Fair is a free community celebration. Funds raised through donations and in the beer garden benefit the Fremont Chamber of Commerce’s grants program to fund non-profit projects that strengthen the Fremont Community. For more information, visit fremontfair.org.
