According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the most frequent construction citation given is lack of fall protection for workers. Without proper protection, the likelihood of construction accidents increases.
OSHA has released a Fall Prevention Fact Sheet that Attorney Charles Boyk shared in his law office's blog today. Attorney Boyk stated, “If we prevent just one construction accident by sharing this fact sheet, then we have achieved success.”
The OSHA Fall Prevention Fact Sheet includes do’s and don’ts that will help to prevent falls from roofs, ladders, and scaffolds. Attorney Boyk urges those in the construction industry to read through the fact sheet and ensure that they are working in safe construction site conditions. The full fact sheet can be found on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration website, and a summary of the fact sheet can be found in the Charles E. Boyk Law Office’s blog.
