Triair Bermuda, Ltd. (certificate number GB 2168) and Acropolis Aviation (certificate number GB 2363) have successfully completed their second on-site audit and maintains their Wyvern Wingman status. Operators that undergo an on-site safety audit and are found to meet the rigorous safety standards conducted by Wyvern auditors are recommended for use by all Wyvern clients. Operators that successfully complete the audit have met the Wyvern Standard, a globally recognized seal of excellence.
The Wyvern Standard far surpasses the industry standard for air charter safety. Operators that pass the on-site audit also agree to post-auditing, which requires them to provide up to date information regarding aircraft and crew. Wyvern’s database verifies this information daily, which ensures the validation of the audit throughout the term of the recommendation.
Andy West, Charter Sales Executive for Acropolis Aviation said “We are delighted that the two companies have completed and successfully passed our second on-site audit. The Wingman status has proved invaluable to our charter operation and we hope that with this renewal, we are able to continue to demonstrate to the charter market our commitment as an operator to aviation safety requirements both on the ground and in-flight.”
Acropolis Aviation’s Airbus A319 Corporate Jet entered service for sole use charter in March 2010. Based at Farnborough Airport in the UK, the 19 seat Acropolis ACJ is equipped to fly up to 10 hours non-stop, holds approval for 180 minute Extended Twin Engine Operations and as of 2013 is approved for Low Visibility Landing.
Triair Bermuda Ltd formed in 1987 when it took delivery of the world’s first public transport Falcon 900. Since then, the company has specialized in operating long range three-engine Falcon Aircraft. Over the last 25 years, the Triair pilots have built up thousands of hours, setting records and pioneering new routes. Today, the 12 seat Falcon 7x is based at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom and is available for sole use charter on a worldwide basis.
To further support their commitment to safety, both Triair Bermuda and Acropolis Aviation will benefit from access to Wyvern’s pilot and aircraft safety survey (PASS) report. The report provides real time data feeds to pilot information to include insurance, medical, and flight time hours. Both operators will be able to run a PASS report on each flight they charter. When purchasing air charter, customers want to see an operator’s commitment to safety. Acceptance into Wyvern’s wingman program supports that commitment.
