The exam was very challenging and covered a wide range of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation topics
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) May 08, 2013
Philadelphia, PA Work Comp Attorney, Michael W. Cardamone, has represented injured workers across Pennsylvania for well over a decade. In March 2013 he sat for the very first Pennsylvania Work Comp Certification Exam, along with a small percentage of Pennsylvania Work Comp Attorneys. Cardamone received word on Monday, May 6, 2013 that he had passed this exam. As a result of this achievement, Attorney Cardamone is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
"The exam was very challenging and covered a wide range of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation topics", Cardamone said. "Just to sit for the exam, you had to establish that a certain percentage of your practice is dedicated to workers' compensation cases, that you have handled a certain amount of specific petitions, hearings, and depositions, and you had to attach briefs that you submitted in your own cases, he added. "But I'm glad that it was difficult as that serves its intended purpose to give consumers a better handle on who maintains the requisite knowledge and experience to handle these cases at a high level". Cardamone believes that other areas of the bar will look to this process as a model.
Cardamone is a senior trial attorney with the Krasno Krasno & Onwudinjo firm- voted a Best Law Firm in the nation by US News & World Report. He works out of the firm's Blue Bell and Philadelphia offices.
