It’s time for the world to see that Paraguay’s new leaders are effecting change

Kiawah Island, SC (PRWEB) May 09, 2013

Paraguay is positioned to become the next global boom economy and the country’s Vice President elect Sr. Juan Afara is coming to Miami to tell global investors all about the New Paraguay.

“It’s time for the world to see that Paraguay’s new leaders are effecting change and are focused on proving to the investment and business world that today’s perception of Paraguay is not reality”, stated Stuart Williams, who is a member of The Southern States Business Coalition.

Although rich in natural and developed resources, Paraguay’s acceptance into the global business and investment community has been hampered by historic accusations regarding corruption, absence of generally accepted “rule of law” provisions, and transparency within its government. However, today, many of Paraguay’s new generation of government and business leaders are working hard to effect the changes required to build the kind of platform required for foreign investors and business leaders to seriously look at Paraguay as a place to invest and or do business.

“We are honored that Vice President elect Juan Afara is taking the time during the government transition to come to Miami to tell the global business community what the current generation of leaders of his country are achieving” said Gloria McCall Snead, a partner at Guarani International Advisors.

As the current changes begin to take hold the future looks very bright for Paraguay, as many of the country’s next generation of government and business leaders are even more adamant that change has to continue. “Many of Paraguay’s next generation leaders were educated in some of the world’s leading institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge and The University of Chicago”, Williams said. Williams went on to say that “These young people are turning their backs on their lucrative careers in the United States, Asia and Europe to return to Paraguay to continue to effect the changes required to build a sustainable economy that benefits all Paraguayans”.

Many analysts agree that there are abundant reserves of incredibly valuable natural and developed resources in Paraguay which can be the catalysts for large opportunities in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, distribution and logistics, real estate and technology. It would appear that Paraguay’s new leaders are not only aware of what their country has to offer but they are aware of the changes they need to make and are well on their way to making them.

Joined by numerous of Paraguay’s most senior government and business leaders, President elect Sr. Juan Afara will be presenting to global investors at the conference “The New Paraguay – Investment and Partnerships in The World’s next Global Boom Economy”. The event is taking place at the Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove, Miami from May 19th through 21st, 2013. For more information on the event visit http://www.opportunitiesinparaguay.com.
