Presented by PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development, the event will include sessions that illustrate best practices to promote partnerships that support play and recreation initiatives and methods for creating inclusive play environments designed for people of all ages and abilities.
Designed for professionals in the fields of park and recreation, landscape architecture, and education, the symposium will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be held at the Parklands of Floyds Fork Gheen’s Foundation Lodge. Hosted by David Williams & Associates and GameTime, the sessions will be led by master trainers Jodie Adams, of Brio2 Solutions and former director of Springfield-Greene County Park Board, and Jennie Sumrell, Director of Programs and Partnerships, from PlayCore. The sessions offer Continuing Education Units for professionals and promise to be lively, informative, and educational. Lunch and education resources will be provided.
