GA Driver Safety is proud to announce that students can now complete courses for Drivers Ed Online. Thanks to Joshua’s Law, passed in 2005, all teenagers are required to take a 30-hour drivers education course in order to earn their Class D drivers license. This Drivers Ed online course complies with Joshua’s law, allowing students to complete the Drivers Education course at their own pace, when it is convenient for their schedule.
Joshua’s Law requires a student to complete a full 30 hours worth of Drivers Education. This is why the online Drivers Education program has a built in timer which records the amount of time the student spends on his or her Drivers Ed studies. This timer proves to the Georgia Department of Driver Services, that the required 30 hours of study have been met.
GA Driver Safety is thrilled to offer Drivers Ed Online. This drivers education course offers multiple benefits for all parties involved, including:
1.) Drivers Ed students can complete the 30-hour coursework online, at their own pace.
2.) Once Drivers Ed students meet the 30-hour requirement and pass all quizzes, they’ll be able to take the final exam.
3.) Parents of Drivers Ed students may obtain a certificate of completion as proof for discounted insurance rates.
4.) The online Drivers Ed course provides proof to The Georgia Department of Driver Services that the student met all Joshua’s Law requirements.
