Cord Master Engineering (CME) has been recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). Raytheon has conferred its 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award for 2012 to CME’s operation in North Adams, MA. The North Adams plant, which also houses its Meehan Electronics Corporation (MEC) business unit, manufactures complex cables and wiring harnesses (including custom molded LSZH power cords) that support various defense programs for Raytheon.

Raytheon IDS instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Award program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality, on-time delivery, D&B financial ratings and demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. Cord Master Engineering was one of about 60 suppliers out of 5,000 global partners recognized by Raytheon for 4-Star honors.
