Lexington, KY (PRWEB) May 14, 2013
As a member of the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers, managed I.T. services experts NetGain Technologies will be participating in their upcoming annual energy conference May 14 & 15. Built by manufacturers, this is Kentucky’s only energy conference focused exclusively on manufacturing.
The conference aims to bring attention to concerns about the rising cost of energy and the impact that has on operations for manufacturers in the state. The conference will feature workshops and breakout sessions on Tuesday, May 14 and general sessions with expert panels on Wednesday, May 15 at the Lexington Convention center. NetGain Technologies will be located at booth 31.
“As the economy improves, manufacturers are increasing production. But they are facing a lot of challenges such as increasing energy costs and difficulties finding top talent,” said Bret Anderson, vice president of marketing and development for NetGain Technologies.
"Traditionally, I.T. was a major drain on energy but new technology has changed that. We have the I.T. expertise that manufacturers need to cut energy costs and improve efficiencies. Plus, a progressive I.T. environment appeals to top talent making it a recruiting tool too.”
Participants of the conference will be able to network with other manufacturers, learn about the changes in manufacturing and energy legislature, as well as “best practices” and the economic effect of specific energy and environmental issues.
