San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) May 16, 2013
Everyday, the employees at ProScribe have an amazing opportunity to assist physicians so that they may focus their attention on patients. ProScribe’s incredible service allows physicians and other caregivers to improve the health of our communities and ultimately save thousands of lives.
The recent tragedy that struck West, TX resulted in an overwhelmed emergency department at the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. The emergency department scribes who were assigned to shifts stayed on to help, several others came in off duty, and others were on standby to assist if needed. Physicians that were not familiar with Hillcrest were called in to help treat over 100 patients. This was a true mass casualty and without the aid of our Scribes many physicians would have struggled to efficiently care for so many patients.
Specifically, we are extremely proud and grateful of eight (8) Scribes at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center who went above and beyond expectations during this tragic event:
Dr. Randy Hartman, the medical director, stated, "The scribes who were scheduled did an amazing job and we had several who came in from home to help out. All should be strongly commended and thanked for their service and their willingness to come in and help take excellent care of patients. Please thank them and show your appreciation as we are gracious for their help and support."
On behalf of the entire ProScribe organization, we recognize and thank all of our Scribes at Hillcrest. We are extremely appreciative and proud of your dedication and hard work.
