Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (PRWEB) May 15, 2013
Local car-sharing company TimeCar LLC is expanding its operations to downtown neighborhood, Deep Deuce.
Set to launch on Thursday, May 16th, TimeCar will offer nearby residents and businesses 24-hour access to vehicles conveniently located on NE 2nd Street, just west of the new Aloft Hotel.
With the continual growth of residential properties, Deep Deuce is a natural fit for TimeCar according to TimeCar President, Benny Jacobs. “It’s currently the most densely populated downtown neighborhood and only becoming more popular,” he explained. “You don’t have to own a car to live there, residents can easily bike, walk and now use car-sharing.”
TimeCar is a membership based car-sharing program offering surrounding residents and businesses the ability to rent a diverse fleet of eco-friendly cars, trucks and SUVs by the hour or by the day, providing gas, insurance, parking and maintenance to all qualified individuals above the age of 18 at an affordable rate.
Their Deep Deuce location will initially offer a Nissan Juke and Mazda 3 but will adjust the fleet to best fit the needs of that location’s members.
TimeCar intends to expand to other downtown and midtown locations as demands increase. “As urban living continues to grow, so does the need for urban transportation,” Jacobs said. “We’re confident that car-sharing is best fit to fill that void.”
Over the past 3 years, TimeCar has grown to 4 locations in Oklahoma, offering car-sharing at: Oklahoma City University, the University of Oklahoma, the Crowne Plaza on Northwest Expressway, and now Deep Deuce.
TimeCar members can begin reserving vehicles located in Deep Deuce at 8am on Thursday, May 16th.
TimeCar is currently Oklahoma’s only local car-sharing company proudly serving Oklahomans for over three years. For more information please call 405.767.3709 or visit http://www.timecar.com.
