"We couldn't be happier that Greg will be coming aboard as a contributor. We've always considered him family and we feel his voice is essential in terms of reaching a new generation of conservatives." Larry Solov, CEO and President of Breitbart News
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 15, 2013
Breitbart News Network, LLC, the parent company of leading media website Breitbart.com, announced today that it will team up with Greg Gutfeld, co-host of Fox News’ The Five and host of Fox News’ Red Eye, as well as multi-NY Times best-selling author, most recently of The Joy of Hate: How to Triumph over Whiners in the Age of Phony Outrage. Gutfeld will be joining Breitbart News as a regular columnist and contributor to “The Conversation” vertical.
“Andrew Breitbart wasn't just a visionary, he was a dear friend,” said Gutfeld. “Whatever I write will always be deeply influenced by our shared ambition to affect the direction of a country (and its pop culture) that he loved so deeply. The question, 'What would Andrew say,' is always in the back of my head, whenever I sit down to write. Of course, the amount of wine ingested has an impact too. And Andrew would want nothing less."
Breitbart News Network is one of the leading Conservative news and information sites on the Web, incorporating unique, influential, and thought-leading voices.
Larry Solov, CEO and President of Breitbart News Network said, "Greg Gutfeld and Andrew Breitbart were not only close collaborators but close personal friends. They shared the belief that politics is downstream from culture and both had a unique and incisive way of speaking to that point. We couldn't be any happier that Greg will be coming aboard as a contributor. We've always considered him family and we feel his voice is essential in terms of reaching a new generation of conservatives."
Stephen K. Bannon, Executive Chairman of Breitbart News Network, said, “Our goal at Breitbart News is to provide the best platform in conservative media for distinct voices like Greg. We are excited about our association with him and look forward to creating something very unique.”
Jon Kahn, the Company’s Minister of Culture added, “Who’s Greg Gutfeld?”
