Billups Worldwide, a full-service out-of-home (OOH) media agency, expanded its senior team with new hires.
Chris Newport has been with Billups Worldwide as a design and technology consultant since 2009. This month, he was hired as the Chief Innovation Officer, responsible for identifying new business strategies and technology opportunities, working out of the Portland office. Chris has extensive experience with this line of work, including his time with Walt Disney World where he established product, environmental and digital experiences for both the California and Florida theme parks and hotels. Chris has also worked with many Fortune 500 companies throughout his career. He is dedicated to technology within the design world and has already been an instrumental part of positioning Billups Worldwide as an innovation leader.
Soyoung Kim joined Billups as a Director, Media Strategy, in the LA office. Soyoung was most recently with OSI/OAG where she was a manager, handling OOH planning and account services for Sony Electronics, Kia Motors and more. Soyoung will supervise the LA media department as well as oversee planning for several large accounts.
