Presented by PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development, the event will include sessions that illustrate best practices for creating inclusive play environments for people of all ages and abilities, and designing trails that attract children and families.
Designed for professionals in the fields of park and recreation, landscape architecture, and education, the City of Columbus-hosted symposium will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at Jerry Hammond Government Center. Sponsored by David Williams & Associates and GameTime, the sessions will be led by master trainer Jennie Sumrell, Director of Programs and Partnerships from PlayCore’s Center for Professional Development. The sessions offer Continuing Education Units for professionals and promise to be lively, informative, and educational. Lunch and education resources will be provided.
