We are proud to contribute to Building Homes for Heroes and help make life a little easier for our wounded warriors when they come home.

At fundraisers held at company sites nationwide to mark Memorial Day, employees of TASC, Inc. raised $11,000, matched dollar-for-dollar by the company, for a donation of $22,000 to Building Homes for Heroes. The funds will go to renovate the Texas home of Army Specialist Andrew Toppin and his family. Toppin, who received a Purple Heart and numerous other honors, was severely wounded while serving in Iraq.
“Although Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer, we should not forget its meaning – to recognize the sacrifices of the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way to protect our nation,” says John Hynes, chief operating officer of TASC. “We appreciate their sacrifices, and we are proud to contribute to Building Homes for Heroes and help make life a little easier for our wounded warriors when they come home.”
A fundraising picnic was held at TASC’s headquarters in Chantilly, VA, on May 15. Other fundraising events held this week included a chili cook-off in San Antonio, TX, a wear-jeans-to-work day in Andover, MA, and an employee lunch in San Diego. The nationwide fundraiser was organized by TASC’s employee groups.
