According to the article from Forbes, location-based advertising is the “next big thing.” Mobile ads are likely to become more valuable if companies are able to advertise based on a person’s location.
There are different ways to think about location-based advertising. In Spain, an organization called ANAR Foundation (Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk) created a unique ad to raise awareness about child abuse. They created outdoor ads that look different to adults and children. While adults see an awareness campaign message, children see a picture of an abused child and a phone number where children can get help.
