For over twenty years, Dr. Kevin Montgomery from Stanford University has worked across many organizations in government, academia, and industry. Through these interactions, he realized that future challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and natural disasters will require humankind to coordinate efforts and share their limited resources more than ever before. This led to the idea of a global online community where people can share their experiences and expertise, leverage their resources, and work together to accomplish truly Great Things.
In 2012, Dr. Montgomery met Mark Anderson, the Founder and CEO of the Strategic News Service (SNS), who shared his passion for using advanced technologies to promote change at a global scale. This made the theme for this year’s Future in Review event – “Digitizing the Planet”- an ideal place to announce the Beta release of this new platform. While at this conference, he will be joined by other innovators in the fields of geospatial visualization, analytics, and big data, including Patrick Hogan, the Project Director behind NASA World Wind, and Chris Johnson, the Director of the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah, in promoting this breakthrough offering.
This next generation global social platform will be initially released to the attendees of the Future in Review Conference at the event itself, followed shortly by members of the Strategic News Service community and current Intelesense partners. Others who are interested in participating in this beta program are welcome to send an email describing their interest in evaluating this product to info(at)intelesense(dot)net with the Subject Line “Beta Program Request” with their contact information.
