The focus of the remodel was to expand the amount of the club’s wedding and event spaces, and they needed a website that could highlight its beauty and uniqueness.

The City Club of San Francisco offers some of the most glamorous and sophisticated spaces to host weddings and other private events in the city. Those looking to book events at the downtown venue can now easily view photo galleries, plan a visit and request a proposal on the club’s newly redesigned website, http://www.cityclubsf.com.

Highlighting the recent expansion and renovation of some of The City Club’s most stylish rooms, the new website also allows prospective members to view the club’s social calendar and inquire about membership online, and allows brides-and grooms-to-be to see the unique spaces transformed into different wedding settings.

“Once the historic landmark completed an extensive remodel, we leapt at the chance to give them a new website to match,” said Wendy Quesinberry of Quesinberry & Associates, who designed the new site.

“The focus of the remodel was to expand the amount of the club’s wedding and event spaces, and they needed a website that could highlight its beauty and uniqueness,” said Wendy. “This downtown Art Deco gem boasts interiors that include a Diego Rivera mural, gold and silver leaf ceiling tiles, and more treasures to count. If you’ve never been there, well, we hope this website is the next best thing.”

The City Club of San Francisco is located at the site of the former Pacific Stock Exchange, in a remarkable building that exemplifies the city’s romantic culture with every detail. The club’s recent renovations expanded the 9th Floor to include two new rooms suited for a range of events, and remodeled the 12th Floor Deco Penthouse to showcase sweeping views of the city and a Parlor room.

The Grand Salon, one of the new additions to the 9th Floor, accommodates 130 seated and 150 standing guests for social and corporate events in San Francisco, and is equipped with advanced audio-visual capabilities. This newly constructed, light-filled open space reflects the same Art Deco details found throughout the rest of the club, including 1930s-era glass panels from Paris.

Adjoining The Grand Salon is the new Library Room, featuring wood-paneled ceilings, Art Deco chandeliers and library-style shelves to create a cozy space for 80 to 100 guests.

Images of these new rooms and others can be found on the club’s new website, in photo galleries that exhibit the capabilities of these spaces for weddings, business and other private events. Those interested in booking a private event at The City Club can also request a proposal on the updated website.
