The AICPA Maximo Mukelabai Award is designed to recognize a CPA under the age of 40 who has performed outstanding service toward the advancement, stewardship, and promotion of the accounting profession and selfless contributions to the community. Nominees are submitted by their peers, AICPA staff, or employer/state CPAs.

Scott has accelerated his career from former manager within a Big 4 firm to cofounder of his first CPA firm at age 26, and now as the successful business owner of a well-recognized and rapidly growing CPA firm. In addition to serving as a mentor to many in the industry, Scott is widely recognized as one of the most experienced SAS 70/SSAE 16 auditor in the industry. Scott is deeply rooted in the Tampa community and supports numerous charitable events and foundations. He is best known for his business integrity, philanthropic involvement, and stellar reputation.
