“Using Gateway4Cloud, cloud service providers will boost their revenue whilst end-users will gain productivity. More than just a control panel; it’s a gateway for the cloud.” - Marco Houwen, CEO and founder of LuxCloud

LuxCloud is the leading channel-centric marketplace for cloud services. Sales and software partners are fully equipped with all the services and products they require to launch and run their own cloud service business; thereby meeting the increasing demands from SMBs around the world. As a cloud service broker enabler, the LuxCloud platform delivers ISV-enablement, syndication of its marketplace to any independent storefront or brokerage platform, and private labelling; encompassing all the prerequisite services in the cloud brokerage ecosystem.
Its latest product, Gateway4Cloud, was created to enable cloud service providers to offer a centralized gateway to cloud services in a user-friendly and commercially focused environment. A demonstration of the many features of Gateway4Cloud including improved functionalities and enhanced Graphical User Interface (GUI), is available here.
EuroCloud Luxembourg was created in 2009 by key personnel in the Luxembourg ICT sector. Its mission was and remains that of placing Luxembourg on the European map for cloud computing services and SaaS whilst encouraging the adoption of these services at a national level.
EuroCloud Luxembourg promotes the development of the cloud computing sector in Luxembourg; businesses are given guidance from leading cloud experts along with the sharing of best practices and close association with EuroCloud’s European partners. Participation in the creation of a legal framework for cloud computing, plus the adoption of cloud services around the world also feature highly on their agenda.
Gateway4Cloud – Flexibility, usability and mobility
The consumerization of IT means employees have substantial influence on the technology used by small and medium-sized companies (SMB). They manage their workspace and are often choosing which applications to use. Bringing your own device (BYOD) is quickly becoming the standard.
The evolving SMB working environment has brought about the need for improved flexibility, mobility and usability. Such requirements are met with cloud applications. When it comes to consuming and managing multiple cloud services by SMBs, LuxCloud now has a unique product: Gateway4Cloud.
With Gateway4Cloud, the roll-out of applications and assigning of users has never been so easy; rather than working with multiple non-intuitive control panels, administrators and end-users can now access their cloud applications through a centralized and user-friendly environment, through multiple devices, from any location and with a single sign-on.
Gateway4Cloud takes the prize
The EuroCloud Luxembourg award ceremony took place on May 23, during the golden-i event in partnership with ITnation, with the LuxCloud team proudly collecting their award for Gateway4Cloud as Best Cloud Service Product. Winners of this award will have the opportunity to participate in the European competition, EuroCloud Congress, organized by EuroCloud Europe on October 15-16 in Luxembourg and in which the winners from the national competitions will compete.
Marco Houwen, CEO and founder of LuxCloud, said, “Gateway4Cloud is all about flexibility, usability and mobility.” Marco continued, “Using Gateway4Cloud, cloud service providers will boost their revenue whilst end-users will gain productivity. More than just a control panel, it’s a gateway for the cloud.”
