During the first 30 days of the text messaging campaign, Seattle Sun Tan was able to build a database of 4,750 customers, while generating a 57% redemption rate on the initial text message promotion, resulting in $196,101.87 in new sales. Seattle Sun Tan customers redeeming the initial text message offer, on average spent 500% more than customers that didn’t receive the text message marketing offer.
