Cambridge Innovation Center and Nexistant Announce Pilot for Remote Lobby Reception

The Virtual Attendant has been deployed in a new unstaffed office and managed by the concierge team at the Cambridge Innovation Center headquarters. A remote kiosk featuring a touch screen with instructions, life-size HD video display, and video surveillance camera is stationed in the entryway of the new office to provide reception services for guests.

Nexistant, Inc. announced today that the Virtual Attendant is currently in pilot by the Cambridge Innovation Center for remote lobby reception services in its newest office location. The Virtual Attendant is a high definition videoconferencing solution for remote reception and concierge services, featuring skills-based video routing, remote device control and document sharing, and cloud-based reporting and management.

The Virtual Attendant has been deployed in a new office and managed by the concierge team at the Cambridge Innovation Center headquarters.    A remote kiosk featuring a touch screen with instructions, life-size HD video display, and video surveillance camera is stationed in the entryway of the new office to provide reception services for guests. The concierge team will be able to monitor lobby activity, proactively contact guests, answer calls from guests, share documents, note activity, and track performance. The software providing sensory inputs, video routing, and reporting is delivered via cloud service.
