Lake Worth, Fla. –
(PRWEB) June 13, 2013 -- When the odds are stacked, make a new path. Evans MacDowell weaves a tale of international endeavors, love and entrepreneurial spirit in his new book, “905 to Rio.” MacDowell walks the line between fact and fiction in the book, which is based on true events following the three major hurricanes that struck south Florida in the new millennium.
MacDowell introduces readers to Jordan Makk, a young man searching for his life path. By setting out on the road less travelled, Makk is able to outwit his childhood demons, earn a fortune and find true love. MacDowell inserts his own life story into the book, such as Makk’s decisions to forego college, become a professional wakeboarder, and start his own business.
The line between fact and fiction is meant to let readers to decide what aspects ring true in their lives.
“Many people can relate to 905 to Rio,” MacDowell says. “We all have pressure to conform to the known path and we struggle with this pressure every day."
“Hopefully, this book inspires readers to find the path that works for them and ultimately leads them to a fulfilling life.”
