NFI, a leading supply chain company headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, will sponsor the 15th Annual Super Scooper Ice Cream event to benefit the Joshua Kahan Fund.
This 2-day all-you-can-eat event will be held on June 29 and 30 at the Great Plaza at Penns Landing in Philadelphia, PA, from 12:00 – 6:00 PM. Each person, who donates $7 to the fund, can help “lick leukemia” by enjoying as much ice cream as one can eat.
The Super Scooper fundraiser was created by the Joshua Kahan Fund in 1998, which has helped to raise more than $1 million in donations for pediatric leukemia research. 100% of the proceeds of this annual event are presented to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2012 alone, the event raised more than $120,000.
NFI partners with PLM Trailer to supply and fuel the refrigerated containers that keep the ice cream cold for the two-day event. After the festivities, NFI transports the remaining product to the South Jersey Food Bank.
