Parents and children together will enjoy learning about the importance of Earth's ecology and the small creatures who help take care of it.

Geared for three to nine year-olds, Molly Green Likes Worms is an educational, fun book with bright, colorful illustrations by Patricia L. Nagy. The author based Molly’s character on the way she pictured a granddaughter if she had one, and their conversations in the garden are based on times spent with her three grandsons as they dig for worms with her in her yard.
This delightful children’s book teaches that although worms may seem dirty and slimy, they are really very gentle and good for the earth. It teaches that worms are good for the soil and their little tunnels in the ground allow the roots of trees, flowers and grass to get water. It teaches that people should never be afraid of worms, and if they see one on a sidewalk, they should pick it up and put it back in the grass where it is safe; otherwise it will die.
“Molly Green Likes Worms” is a well-written, well-illustrated, 8 1/2 x 11, 40-page book that will capture the attention of young children as it teaches them about taking care of the Earth in which they live. With large type and charming pictures, parents and children together will enjoy learning about the importance of Earth’s ecology and the small creatures who help take care of it.
