This annual donation has not missed a season since 2000, accumulating over $138,000 for BGCSA. BGCSA serves almost 7,400 members and organizes both summer and after school programs designed to help children from age six to 18. These programs boosts the children’s academic success, character, citizenship, and promote a healthy lifestyle through enriching programs that focus on a variety of subjects including art, music, college preparation and sports.
With the Fast Brakes Points promotion Brake Check makes a donation for every Fast Break point scored in the regular season. Brake Check continues the Fast Brakes Points promotion every year because the partnership with the Spurs provides a platform for awareness and has a greater reach. Not only is Brake Check giving to a needed cause, but they also are educating the San Antonio community on the services of BCCSA.
