Permian Automotive Holds Golf Tournament for Make-A-Wish

Permian Automotive Group in Hobbs, New Mexico proudly sponsored a charity golf tournament to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico.

Permian Automotive Group recently took part in a great event to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico. Permian Automotive Group proudly sponsored the charity golf tournament, organized by ConocoPhillips, that was held on May 31 and June 1, 2013 at Hobbs Country Club in Hobbs, New Mexico. Prizes were also given to golf tournament participants in recognition of the Top 3 Teams, Closest to Pin and a Long Drive Contest. Their efforts resulted in over $150,000 being raised to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico make dreams come true for the children of New Mexico.

The New Mexico Chapter of the Make-A-Wish foundation was founded in 1986 and granted its first wish, a bicycle, in January of 1987 to a child named Donovan. Each year since then they have held a variety of events to raise money to work toward their mission to “Grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.” Permian Automotive Group sponsors organizations like the Make-A-Wish foundation, as well as many others, in order to help give back to the community that supports them and has helped them succeed.

Permian Automotive Group has been serving the residents of the Hobbs, New Mexico area since 1948 and each year they sponsor many events that benefit the Hobbs, New Mexico area as well as surrounding areas.
