AvFinity designed APIS Connect to facilitate APIS compliance for carriers and corporate flight departments with infrequent international flights. APIS Connect files passenger and crew manifests from almost any source — XML, web browsers and tabular data, including comma-delimited spreadsheets.
The data moves over AvFinity’s high-speed, secure interconnect to government border authorities. Senders receive real-time acknowledgment of the filing’s status if available from the border agency, all the while maintaining complete control of their regulatory requirements.
APIS Connect features all benefits enjoyed by the many airlines that use AvFinity’s high-volume APIS Navigator™ service. The AvFinity APIS Navigator software technology integrates into a large airline’s backend office system and captures and securely transmits passenger information machine to machine. APIS Navigator has been operating continuously since 2010 handling millions of characters of data every day.
AvFinity engineers built that same technological efficiency into APIS Connect. Both services handle data seamlessly. Both enable users to connect directly through a secure, high-speed connection to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), CARICOM and the United Kingdom’s e-Borders.
