The King's Daughters Inn, the luxury boutique Inn located in Durham, NC, will have the Executive Chef of Ãn Cuisines, Steven D. Greene over for dinner on June 20th. Chef Greene will be preparing a five-course gourmet meal, each course including a pairing of wine that has been uniquely chosen for each dish.
Each wine has been chosen to bring out the flavors of the specific dish. The first course will be the Chef's cocktail and Cañapés. The second is a Hamachi Tartare; Yuzu, Cucumber, Coriand, Barley, Aged White Soy, that will be pared with a Vincent Delcorte Sancerre. The thirdcourse will be Sea Scallops, Tapioca, Asian Pear Salad, Ginger Purée, Thai Coconut, that will be paired with a Zind Humbrecht Lot 170 Gewürztraminer. The fourth course includes Border Springs Lamb; Marbled Potatoes, Preserved Lemon, 7-Spiced Honey paired with a Venge Scouts Honor Red Blend. The fifth Course of Goat Cheese Cheesecake; Pickled Strawberries, Szechuan Dust, Moscoto Sherbet will be pair with the Iron Horse Russian Cuvée.

Tickets to the event are $125 each, including tax, gratuity and wine pairings ($100 without wine pairing). The dinner is on June 20th at The King's Daughters Inn and tickets can be purchased through their Facebook Page. The night will start with cocktails at 6pm.
The Pop-Up Dinner Series at The King's Daughters Inn started when the Crossman's, owners and proprietors of the Inn, decided they wanted to highlight some of the culinary gems that the Triangle area has to offer.
