Toledo, OH (PRWEB) June 17, 2013
State troopers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and West Virginia are joining together for a distracted driving enforcement and awareness effort. According to the Ohio State Patrol website, troopers will make an effort to reduce distracted driving related accidents while raising awareness about the dangers that distracted driving creates.
The Charles E. Boyk Law Office feels strongly about the need to bring attention to distracted driving. The office fully supports the state troopers and their efforts, hoping that this will help drivers recognize the risks of driving while multitasking.
The aviation section of the patrol will also be taking part in the distracted driving crackdown, as stated on their website. They will be helping road troopers from the air by looking for violations such as aggressive driving, marked lanes violations, following vehicles too closely, and driving left-of-center.
Attorney Charles Boyk explained, “Distracted driving is something that affects nearly everyone on the roadway. It is an issue that must be addressed and I am pleased to see that our state troopers are doing just that.”
